Ukrainian agony - The concealed war (Official full English version by Mark Bartalmai)
Since mid-July 2014, our war correspondent team is still on site in the southeast of Ukraine – in the Donbass. We shot countless videos and scored over a thousand photos. The team of “Keep a close eye on by Mark Bartalmai” was the ONLY western and German team of journalists with the highest level of accreditation and therefore had access to many critical points in this civil war. Our materials are now being used in a documentary.
We made this documentary film from over 3 terabytes video that were filmed in several months on site.
It shows the different areas of the war in recounting episodes and individual stories – of civilians, soldiers and journalists. The focus is on the personal perspectives of each of the actors, supported by the recorded material, during and after the bombing of cities, battles and on people’s lives under war conditions in the middle of Europe.
The documentary is not an action movie. Rather, it lives from spoken word, by the voices of the people of the interviews and their impressions. Accompanied with sequences of events it draws a picture of the personal feelings of the participants – whether civilians, soldiers and journalists.
“Ukrainian Agony” is a silent film about the immense volume and violence of war. The propaganda has reached a new level of “quality”. Disinformation, concealment, half-truths up to outright lies are the “weapons” of certain Western media in this war – in an unprecedented degree.

Holland is the only country where the EU association of Ukraine is subject to a referendum to be held in April 2016. All indicators show the Dutch are going to say "NO". Poroshenko is trying to turn the tide. In this light, his visit to the Netherlands should be viewed.

The reactions to Poroshenko's speech, that could be watched via a live-stream at the web-site of Geenstijl, promotors of the referendum as well, were mostly negative and above-all ironic.

Eindbaas: "Listening to this man talking about free media, owning five tv-stations himself is the utmost of dirty hypocrisie."
Cuyahoga: "A pitty no questions could be asked; I wanted to know his explantion of him glorifying the Nazi's. He is a fan of UPA, who slaughteres tens of thousands of Poles in one of the most horrific etnic cleansics in Ukraine's history. Boy oh boy, what a drama. Anybody able to read and write and still voting in favour of this association (with Ukraine) really lost his mind."

Double-Dutch
In short, the Dutch were far from impressed by the chocolate-sweet Double-Dutch of the President doing so much his best to be charming.
Yesterday Poroshenko visited the Dutch Parliament. Here he is driving away. No activists were present. Also the gay-protesters, so much present when Putin arrived some years ago, did not take the effort to come to meet with Poroshenko. Anyway, the few people being present were kept at a large distance. No contact being possible. The same counts for the speech in Leiden. Three people were allowed to ask well prepared questions to Poroshenko. Spontanity at a record low. From the man preaching with words democracy and transparency.
There are not so many video's with subs available, but we found one with French ones. It is still better than no subs at all. People in Gorlovka tell Graham Philips what they think of Poroshenko. "A murderer!". Different from politicians in Western Europe, at a large distance from Ukraine, like Dutch Prime Minister Marc Rutte, who consider Poroshenko a good guy, local people in Donbass, have a completely different, and probably more realistic view about Petro Poroshenko: They consider him a damned child-murderer.
Enorme Staatscampagne om schuld MH17 ramp alsnog in Russische schoenen te schuiven.
Bewijs en feiten lijken daarbij van geen belang; eerder maar lastige obstakels.
Er lijkt een opfriscampagne aan de gang om de schuld van de MH17 crash alsnog, met alle geweld in de schoenen van de Russen te kunnen schuiven.
NOS is zowel op de radio (met in de hoofdrol de als altijd collaboratiegewillige Lara Rense) als op tv bij het 8-uur journaal bezig om alle pijlen op Rusland te richten. Als aanleiding wordt nu de oproep genomen van het OM aan getuigen om zich te melden. Het lijkt alsof het OM enkel geineteresseerd is in getuigen die iets over Russische schuld willen getuigen. Geen woord bij de NOS over de serieuze mogelijkheid dat er straaljager bij betrokken zouden kunnen zijn. En geen woord bij de NOS dat er in de Donbass gewoon een oekraïense BUK installatie in de Donbass was. Wat deed die Oekraïense BUK daar? Het verzet of de Russen hadden ten slotte nog nooit met een vliegtuig daar gevlogen.
Het zijn vragen die op de Nederlandse staatsradio en tv niet gesteld (mogen?) worden.

It seems a refresh-campaign has started on Dutch State-radio and Dutch state-tv to blame Russia for the disaster with the MH17. Especially LARA RENSE is playing a pivotol role in this on the Dutch state radio. Facts and logic do not play any role. Lara Rense willingly collaborates in this game
A call sent out by the Dutch investigating team to witnesses to report what they have seen is being used by Dutch state radio and tv to point full force to the Russian side. As if there can only be witnesses in what was "Rebel-held" territory. The fact that there is clear footage of a UKRAINE BUK on the eve of 17 July in Donbass is completely neglected. "The Ukrainian government has done everything to kill me personally"
"NewsBalt" (Andre Omelchenko for Newsbalt.ru) interviewed Ukrainian doctor Mikhail Kovalenko, who was saving Novorossia civillians, militias and national guardsmen.
In two days, at midnight on the 15th of February, according to the Minsk agreements, bloodshed must end in Novorossia, bitter symbol of which for many is this photo from Slavyansk.
Information and analytical portal "NewsBalt" managed to find the man depicted in the picture, carrying in his hands the murdered girl, and talk to him. A doctor by profession, Mikhail Kovalenko now lives in Russia, but we will not mention the region, because the banderites are looking for a hero-surgeon.
Mikhail Georgievich, this is a well-known photograph. The Ukrainian media said that it is the daughter's father running away from the separatists, and that this girl was killed by the punishers. Is it you in the picture?
Yes, it's me. Where the picture came from, I don't know. And the mines that killed this girl came from Karachun mountain. There was a Ukrainian battery, which regularly shelled the city. That's where the fire came from.
What are the events depicted in this picture?
This happened on Trinity. We just returned with my wife from the church. At this time, city water system already did not function. In the single-house districts there were wells and all the neighbors went there to fetch water. The militia brought a generator (there was no electricity by then). Two explosions happened. They hit the spot where people got water. A militiaman ran from around the corner, carrying a child. Someone shouted: "There's a doctor!" The fighter gave the girl to me. From my home to the hospital - 500 meters. I ran over there. Put her on the operating table, and realized that the child was dead. The girl had hip, abdomen, and head injuries. Then, when I was looking at this picture, I realized that the child was already dead. Then, in a rush, I didn't see it.
Who fired?
Karachun mountain dominates over the city. Only mountain in our area. On it was a Ukrainian battery, which was constantly shelling the city. They fired from there. And the evidence clearly showed where the shells came from. Militia never fired on Slavyansk, I can vouch for that.
Many Ukrainians supporting ATO [anti-terrorist operation], believe that the militias fired on themselves.
A person can be convinced of many things. I myself had to convince the terminally ill that they will recover. They believed.
Recovered?
No. They were dying. But believed.
Mikhail Georgievich, what are your impressions, memories from the beginning of the war?
Until that Trinity I still had the feeling that it will be okay. They fired on the outskirts, but there were not many victims. The horror began on May 2nd. It is on May 2nd, when a column of the military, which took Karachun, fired on the village of Semenovka - small, by Donetsk standards, settlement, roughly two hundred yards.
Local residents blocked the road for the column, so that it would not get to Karachun. Locals made an agreement with the unit commander, that the soldiers will empty the ammunition into the air, and then report to his superiors: "fired everything and had to return". And the regular UAF division shot a few rounds into the air, and then just started shooting at the people. This day was my shift at the hospital.
It was the first real slaughter. We got 16 people with gunshot wounds. Us, doctors, were not used to such injuries, especially in such quantities. Three received a bullet in the abdomen. One - in the chest. We lost him. The rest were wounded in the legs. That day we lost four. The rest survived. After this massacre some of the inhabitants fled to the city [Slavyansk]. Some stayed. There was a certain balance between the militia and Ukrainian troops. The militia took the position under the mountain. UAF dug in on the mountain.
At the initial stage there were 4 attacks on Slavyansk. There were many casualties among the civilian population. There were wounded among the militia. Even national guardsmen were brought to us. We took care of them. There was a lot of artillery shelling of residential areas. My house was bombed.
It is very scary when you hear the sounds of explosions, while operating on the wounded, and near the hospital there are such explosions that the building is shaking. The military somehow prepares for it. They know how to hide, how to behave in general. We don't know that. Thirty meters from the hospital, my senior operating nurse was killed. One house was bombed from aircraft. I am now settled not far from an airport. And only six months later stopped shivering when I hear the sound of a plane.
Was there a lot of work?
For some time I never left the hospital. Surgeons were constantly needed, because there was a non-stop flow of victims. We didn't divide people into ours and theirs. We operated on all. Sometimes a militiaman and a national guardsman laid on beds next to each other.
Mikhail Georgievich, how did you decide to move to Russia?
June 17, when the militia left, I also left. After three or four days. First to Kharkov, then to Russia. We learned about the withdrawal of the militia exactly on the day when they left. The militias stopped by and said, "Doctor, we are leaving the city right now. Whoever wants to, can go with us now. Get in the car."
We burned all the medical records. In Slavyansk militia almost all were local residents. Slavyansk by Donetsk standards is a small town - 120 thousand. Imagine what would happen to their families if UAF learned about their gunshot wounds? After militia left, the town was quiet all night. Some absolute, resounding silence. No people, no Ukrainian soldiers. Somewhere, about twelve o'clock, the first Ukrainian soldiers appeared in the city. People, of course, were hiding. I sat in the hospital and watched as two BTRs passed, then returned. Left for the night. The next day they again came back for the day, left for the night. Only on the third or fourth day they began staying in the city. They made a caret [inverted "V"] with BTRs and slept inside.
Why did you decide to leave?
It's personal. Personally I had been shot at. From cannons, small arms. Perhaps I can say that the Ukrainian government has done everything to kill me. They they didn't kill me because I'm clever. Not because they didn't try - they tried very well - but because I was lucky, I was able to avoid it. And to live in a country where the government personally shot at me, I just can't.
Did they believe they were in a hostile territory? Were they afraid?
Yes. They are still afraid. A friend told me. After 18-19 o'clock there is no one in the city. No one goes out on the street. They patrol the city. My friend was out late, but was walking home before curfew. And then, ten meters from him, a machine gun round hit the asphalt. Without any warning. He jumped to the side: "What are you doing?". And they said, "Turn and walk around". I.e. when a civilian approaches them, they are afraid.
What have you heard about extra-judicial executions in Slavyansk?
People were disappearing. One of my friends disappeared. He was not in the militia. Just a small businessman. The majority of small entrepreneurs funded the militia. And in August his wife called, in tears, told me that her husband is missing for three days, and cannot be found. So only among my friends, there are two such facts.
Mikhail Georgievich, did Strelkov raise everyone, or did the people rise up themselves?
Strelkov appeared in a city ready to revolt. Therefore, "strelkovtsi" are almost all locals. It was a real popular uprising. At first people had shotguns, hunting rifles, a few German "schmeissers", PPSh [Soviet submachine gun] .... Why people took up arms? There were mass rallies. And after the mass rallies people began to disappear. Plus everyone saw the footage from Korsun-Shevchenko. How they burned buses, beat and killed people. Until then I was skeptical about Maidan, with humor, as the last one, which was in 2004. Until the real slaughter began. Suddenly, like a devil out of a box popped the "Right Sector", "Trident", etc. We never heard about such organizations before. That's when I got really scared. For the first time.

The reason for resistance, was probably, not that you were forced to listen to news in the Ukrainian language?
For many years we have heard from Kiev that in Donbass live not people, but "donbasiane," that with these "donbasiane" they can speak only with a language of force, that Lvov - is a cultural capital. Despite the fact that they, excuse me, have a theater built by the Austrians and no theater company. And Donetsk academic theater staged "The Flying Dutchman" and this play was a world sensation. Only this was not mentioned anywhere in the Ukrainian press. This despite the fact that all of Europe was impressed with this "Flying Dutchman". All this also played a role. We realized that no one will listen to us. As they said, "The government of winners came to power in Ukraine". Not of the whole country, but "of the winners".
Everything that I have observed in Ukraine, is fully described in Feuchtwanger, Remark. I felt like one, then another character in these novels. Only, for example, in the "Black Obelisk", the characters live in a situation where the junta has already lost.
You dealt with the Nazis face-to-face, even though wounded. Maybe after they saw the results of their "defense of Fatherland", learned about the dead children, civilians, when there was no Ukrainian TV channels nearby, they changed their mind?
I don't recall that it has changed. And you know, I think it's not the TV. I think its some psychotropic drugs. Those national guardsmen, whom I saw, looked like people under the influence of some other drugs. Perhaps from a fenamin group. This, apparently, was some kind of military pharmacology. It caused a decrease in the level of fear, pain threshold, increased muscle tone and responsiveness.
Had a chance to operate one of the fighters of national guard, who had a mortal wound. He behaved very inadequately. Was in a state of excitement. Aggressive. Didn't feel pain at all. Got up, sat down. The expression on his face - indescribable. Glassy eyes, absolutely uncritical perception... Maybe this is just an opinion, maybe I'm wrong.
I think that the violence occurs in the process. Some submit to it, some don't. Let's take Khatyn. As it turns out, the Ukrainians did it. In the USSR this topic was a taboo. But it is now known that Khatyn - is a Ukrainian "achievement". Same here. These are the same people with the same behavior.
Why so few people at the initial stage went in the militia?
They weren't needed. My friend came to the assembly point. With his military papers, staff officer. He was asked: "Do you have children?". He said - two. Didn't take him. They took young, single, and retired.
Have you heard about the hospitals, on the territories occupied by the junta, are full of raped women and even minor girls?
I heard about it. But haven't seen myself. And I believe it, because I saw these nazguardians.
Mikhail Georgievich, is it possible to say that the Ukrainian government is carrying out a genocide of the population of Donbass?
How would you describe it: a peaceful city, with militia made up of the residents of the city, is simply bombed by the government? Instead of talking with the residents, to send negotiators? Why was it not done? Why did they begin the shelling of the city?
And phosphorous bombs? I saw these burns. We had six people with these burns. I had seen it all and I am ready to testify under oath.
Did Poroshenko send any negotiators? At least to ask: "what do you want?". People just wanted to feel like people. No one wanted to talk to us. And the war began.
Would you like for the same shooting, the same war to begin in Central and Western Ukraine? That they feel the same, as your countrymen? That they realize that killing civilians is bad?
Absolutely not! What is happening now in Ukraine - this is fascism. Understand correctly. Donbass is a place where people were not divided along ethnic lines. Where Russian, Ukrainian, Tatar, Armenian, Jewish and Uzbek drank cognac at one table. We ate and conversed about religion. Amazing scene.
And how is the transition to civilian life?
Friends in Russia helped with the move. And when we got here, it turned out that one of the hospitals of the city needs a surgeon and a therapist. And they took me and my wife. Slowly entering into a peaceful routine. Personally, I have only for a couple of weeks stopped shaking at night from the sounds of wedding fireworks. I want to wish everyone peace and a calm life.
Monday 9 March, the Dutch emiritus Professor Karel van Wolferen held an open lecture at the occupied University of Amsterdam. He addressed the subjects of the crisis in Ukraine, the financial crisis in Greece, the inertion of Europe and the destructive power of NATO. "Get rid of NATO!". And of course the US: "The United States are addicted to enemies."

* The current Ukraine movement has nothing to do with the original Democracy movement.
* The movement was partly hijacked by Nazi's.
* "Very consistent effort by a number of groups in the US to destabilise parts of the former USSR.
* These NGO's and Thinktanks @work in Eastern Europe and Russiaaimed to undermine and break-up the good (trade-)relations between Europe (Germany) and Russia.
On the terrible state journalism finds itself in:
* Dutch newspaper NRC-Handelsblad isn't even a shadow of its former self. It is terrible what has happened to NRC Handelsblad and alike media like magazines, newspapers and tv-programmes that used to have some integrity: It is gone! There is no journalistic integrity. This is pretty awfull.
* For journalists it is essential to be curious and find out the answers to questions not yet answered.
About what a concerned citizen can do:
* Write letters to editors and ask them to stop this avelanche of propaganda
* The United States are addicted to enemies
* NATO is an extension of the American military industrial complex.
* In order to diffuse conspiracy theories, she (Sheila Kamerman, employee of NRC Handelsblad) is making them more ridiculous, like with extra-terrestial reptiles. She is mocking you as a journalist, making you feel guilty for being curious. And it helps! In the US it is totally effective. You cannot ask questions.
* I ask questions. Why the police inspector who was in charge of the 2 guys shot dead in the Charly Hebdo case, writing his report, shoots himself in the back of his head? With his wrong hand?
On NATO...
* Without NATO there would not be a Ukraine crisis.
* NATO prevents Europe from having a foreign policy
* If we will have Hillary as the next President we will have war with Iran. With the republican candidates it is awfull too.

Wat komt er van alle mooie praatjes terecht?
Een Dollar die naar de 40 (!) Grivn gaat (komende van 8). Het water staat bij velen tot aan de lippen.

Vrijdag 6 Februari hebben we weer met Gorlovka gebeld met een andere vrouw. Zij was erbij toen een jongen getroffen werd door een bomscherf en gewond raakte. Zijn darmen kwamen naar buiten. Militaire doelen waren niet in de buurt zodat we weer kunnen spreken van het in het wild bombarderen door het door Washington gesteunde Oekraïense leger.
Er zijn vele, vele getuigenissen van oorlogsmisdaden gepleegd door het Oekraïense leger. Onderstaande video ook van een slachtoffer uit Gorlovka; het slachtoffer heeft nog enkele woorden over voor Poroshenko. Maar de woorden kunnen net zo goed opgevat worden als zijnde voor Bert Koenders en Marc Rutte. Die steunen namenlijk Poroshenko en zijn leger met woorden, met geld, en met warme kleren voor dat leger. Wat zou de boodschap van Rutte voor deze mensen terug zijn: "Kom op houd nog ff vol. Jullie worden gebombardeerd voor jullie eigen bestwil door Poroshenko!" Zoiets?
Opvallend is dat de mensen over het Oekraïense leger klagen vanuit door het verzet gecontroleerd gebied als vanuit door Oekraïne gecontroleerd gebied zoals Debaltsevo, zie HIER.
Media update:
Nieuwsuur vrijdag jl. was een stevig staaltje pro-NATO rethoriek. Ivo Daalder mocht aan het woord komen om wapenleveranties aan het Oekraïense leger te verdedigen. Vreemd was, dat deze voor een Amerikaans instituut werkende nederlander, die perfect Nederlands spreekt, het interview met Twan Huijs in het Engels deed (...). Daarna ging Huijs met Jeanine Hennis in gesprek en kwam voor de zoveelste maal het zwaar opgeklopte verhaal van de Russische vliegtuigen aan bod, als verklaring dat de NAVO tropenmacht aan de Russische grenzen wel opgevoerd moest worden. Nieuwsuur met Twan Huijs in de hoofdrol heeft zich nu ook geplaatst in de rij van oorloghitsers.
Ook David Jan Godfroid kwam weer voorbij. Nadat hij toch ook duidelijk beelden had getoond eindelijk van burgers die zich over Poroshenko beklaagden kwam hij de laatste keer weer met het actie-reactie verhaal. Daarbij kwam hij ook zelf onder vuur te liggen. Waar de installaties van het verzet op dat moment dan waren liet de reportage echter niet zien.
Vanuit Donetsk wordt vollop gewaarschuwd voor "Diversanten-operaties". Operaties van kleine groepjes achter de linies. In Donetsk zijn zulke groepjes actief. Gewaarschuwd wordt nu dat ze in Russische of verzetskledij zulke acties plannen om het verzet en de Russen verder te discrediteren. Gisteren zou een groep van 12 diversanten gepakt zijn en vandaag twee man. Hier zijn echter geen beelden van.

We hebben diverse contacten, in Gorlovka en andere plaatsen. Met name vanuit Gorlovka krijgen we zeer verontrustende berichten binnen. Dat het Oekraïense leger daar bezig is het leven voor de gewone burger onmogelijk te maken. Bombarderen zonder militair doel. Oorlogsmisdaden dus.
Weinig mensen willen hun verhaal openlijk doen.
Maar deze vrouw die we dinsdag 3 Februari spraken wilde het wel. Opdat de mensen de waarheid horen over Gorlovka en het Oekraïense leger. Luistert u zelf:
* De bommen komen van de Oekraïense Natsguardia.
* Ze vallen overal, chaotisch en ordeloos.
* Ze vallen over alle wijken van de stad. Ook daar waar geen militair doel is.
* Alsof ze onze stad willen vernietigen, met de grond gelijk willen maken.

They fall chaotically and indiscriminately.
As if they want to destroy our town and level it with the ground.
English Version below.Sinds de hervatting van de actieve oorlogshandelingen een week geleden is het naast Donetsk vooral Gorlovka dat te lijden heeft onder onophoudelijke stormachtige bombardementen op alle wijken van de stad. "Er is een enorm aantal slachtoffers. Er zijn nu al, gedurende de afgelopen dagen, meer slachtoffers gevallen dan gedurende de hele zomerperiode. Het Oekraïense leger bombardeert Gorlovka zonder enig militair doel van drie kanten. Het gaat om pure terreur. De beschieting is nu al 3 etmalen gaande, zonder oponthoud. De hel is er losgebroken." Dit meldt Igor Strelkov eind vorige week HIER.
De ziekenhuis-hoofdarts van Gorlovka sprak vorige week al over 109 doden. Burgerdoden.
Op dit moment vindt er een beschieting plaats vanuit Derzhinsk en Artemsk op woonwijken van Gorlovka. Ze beuken niet op de posities van het verzet, maar juist precies op de woonwijken."
Blik communiceert direct met twee inwoners van Gorlovka
Omdat Blik op een gegeven ook niet meer weet wat hij moet geloven of niet, besloten we ad-random contact op te nemen met twee inwoners van Gorlovka. We wilden, zonder tussenkomst van iemand anders, zelf horen van enkele inwoners hoe de situatie in de stad is. We spreken de taal, dus dat is allemaal niet zo ingewikkeld.
Anastasia
Anastasia meldt ons: "Ze bombardeerden ons de hele dag. Er zijn veel doden en gewonden. Het is nu net even stil. Het is al acht dagen zo'n hel, het is afschuwelijk. We zijn bang de straat op te gaan. De projectielen vallen niet alleen, ze nemen hoofden mee, vandaag is bij een man vlakbij een been afgerukt"
Wie doet dat Anastasia?
"Het Oekraïense leger bombardeert ons met GRAD, Uragan (Orkaan), Smertsh (alle drie gaat het om (zware) (multiple) rocket launchers) en vernielt huizen, scholen, ziekenhuizen, speelplaatsen. Ik ben verhuist naar een vriendin in een andere wijk. Bij een ontploffingsgolf zijn mijn ruiten gebroken."
Anastasia spreekt de hoop uit dat dit gauw afgelopen is. De zenuwen van de mensen zitten aan hun limiet. Ook hoopt ze dat er nog iets van de stad over zal zijn en geeft ze aan dat het bombardement niet ophoudt. Het raam beeft.
We communiceren ook met Swetlana
Swetlana meldt dat ze hen doden. De Oekraïeners, de junta-nazi's, doden de inwoners van Donbass. "De projectielen vallen uitsluitend op grotere wooncomplexen, scholen en kinderopvang. Ze doden de burgerbevolking en kinderen." Swetlana leeft in een schuilkelder en meldt dat er gebombardeerd wordt. De dame met de blauwe jas in de eerste video zegt in grote lijnen precies wat onze directe contactpersonen ook melden.

"Pure Terror. Shelling Gorlovka does not serve any millitary goal."
Since the restart of the active war some one week and a half ago, apart from for instance Donetsk, it is above all Gorlovka suffering from heavy stormlike shelling of all sectors of the town. "There is an enormous number of victims. There are more victims now than during the entire summertime (when Gorlovka was also heavily hit). The Ukrainian army shells Gorlovka without any military goal from 3 directions. It is pure terror. Shelling has continued for three days and nights, without interruption. It is hell. These were Igor Strelkov's words last week, "HERE.
The Chief Gorlovka hospital doctor already a few days ago spoke about 109 civilians killed.

At this moment shooting takes place from Dzerzhinsk and Artemsk on civilian sectors of Gorlovka. They do not target our resistance forces, but exactly the civilian sectors.
Blik communicates with two inhabbitants of Gorlovka
Wanting to get confirmation of the worrying news, Blik op NOS-journaal decided to contact ad-random 2 inhabbitants of Gorlovka. We wanted to hear ourselves, without anybody in between, from some civilians themselves, what the situation is, in their town. *For privacy reasons we changed the names.
Anastasia*
Anastasia tells us: "They are shelling us all day. there are many dead and wounded. Now it is quiet for a moment. It has been a hell for the last eight days, it's awfull. We are afraid to go out. The shells don't only fall, they take heads. Today a man close by lost a leg."
Who is doing this, Anastasia?
"The Ukraine army attacks us with GRAD, Uragan, Smertch (all three of them are (heavy) (multiple) rocket systems. They destroy houses, schools, hospitals, playgrounds. I moved to a friend in another area. During a wave of explotions my windows have broken."
Anastasia hopes there will be an end soon to all of this. People's nerves have reached their limmits. She also hopes something of the town will remain, once shelling has finnished. She indicates shelling continues. The window shakes.
Swetlana*
Swetlana says they are being killed. The Ukrainians, the junta-nazi's, are killing the people of Donbass. "The explosives exclusively fall on the bigger appartment blocks, schools and childcare fascilities. They kill the civilian population and children." Swetlana lives in a bomb-shelter and informs shelling takes place. Please see above, under the Dutch section two video's of shelling on 22 and 23 January and filmed on 23 January. Ondertussen doet het NOS journaal alsof het verzet de aanslag van vannochtend opgeeist zou hebben, dat is wat rond 17:30 op radio 1 werd gemeld. In het nieuws van 18:00 uur werd het nieuws iets bijgesteld. Het verzet heeft aangekondigd het Oekraïense leger te verdrijven, maar of ze daarmee bedoelden dat ze ook de aanslag hebben geclaimd zou onduidelijk zijn.
Wij helpen de NOS: nee, de aanslag, de raket aanval claimt het verzet niet. Integendeel. Ze ontkennen met klem dat gedaan te hebben. De aanval past ook niet in hun plaatje, en ook niet als antwoord op de vraag "Qui bono?"
Het verzet heeft inderdaad aangegeven dat het genoeg is en dat ze het Oekraïense leger uit Donetsk en Lugansk zullen verdrijven. Er kan vanuit gegaan worden dat het zelfvertrouwen van Zacharenko gebaseerd is op voor het verzet gunstig omstandigheden en/of voor het Oekraïense leger ongusntige omstandigheden.

His stef-father and five-year old little brother were killed by the Ukrainian shell. Eight-year old Vanya survived the horendous attack.

As a reminder, Poroshenko, the president of Ukraine and as highest commander, responsible for the Ukrainian army and its shelling, will be in Paris today joining the march against terrorism. Poroshenko expressed his condolences to the French, he even is Charlie. Although he wrote probably mistakenly "Je suis Charie", he meant to say "Je suis Charlie!!"

From LGK we received This LINK with the below photo's. According to the link it's innocent civilians being killed by a GRAD missile attack from resistance fighters. However, we also received this LINK, claiming the contrary, viz. the innocense of the resistance fighters and blaming it on Ukrainian side being responsible, adding that the father of the family had been killed by Ukraine forces before, on alledged sympathy or involvement with the resistance. In any case, the location is in territory under control of Ukraine forces and victims feell the 14 year daughter, the mother and the grandmother. And the father was killed before.

Officieel gaat het om 48 mensen die 2 Mei in Odessa gedood zijn, maar ook een getal van 56 wordt genoemd, plus een 50-tal vermisten, waardoor het totaal aantal doden over de 100 zou kunnen gaan. Los van het aantal, is het vooral de manier waarop, die shockeert. 48 Mensen worden opgejaagd en in en om het vakbondsgebouw in koelen bloede, één voor één, doodgemaakt, afgeslacht, vermoord (* gebruik zelf uw woord van voorkeur). Om in de termen van de politicus van het jaar, Frans Timmermans te spreken, wat waren de laatste worden van de mensen die hun fascistische beul in de ogen keek? "Dood mij niet!", of "Bel nog even met Hans van Baalen om te vragen of dit is wat hij bedoelde met "Keep fighting for Democracy!"?" Wat het verder nog macaberder maakt, is dat ook hier de schuld grotendeels vanaf het begin in de schoenen van (pro-)Russen is geschoven. Aangezien er geen beelden zijn die dat ondersteunen heeft de massamedia het thema direct ook maar gelaten voor wat het was. Ook in de overzichten van het jaar komen deze beelden en dit nieuws, in Nederland, niet aan bod. "Het past niet in het plaatje". En het past ook helemaal niet in het plaatje om de volgende reden: Als je namelijk begrijpt wat er in Odessa gebeurd is, dan begrijp je ook wat voor een "nieuw, verlicht" regime er nu in Kiev zit. En dan begrijp je ook waar een dusdanig regime nog verder toe in staat is.

2. Kulikovo Pole - the name of the camp square. The camp was established 2 months ago, so federalists are often named "activists of Kulikovo Pole".
3. Militia - official law-enforcements to provide the local safety.
4. "Send the best to Putin" - the Ukrainian propaganda insists protesters are mainly from Russia or Russia pays for them. Nevertheless, Russian citizens were not catched anywhere in meetings. There are no evidences Russian government organizes protests. And now: all murdered as well as arrested are from Odessa or region.
5. "Who shot from your side?" - several eyewitnesses tell the shooting was also from the federalists side. Nevertheless, all injured and killed by firearm are namely federalists.
6. "They are above [on the roof]" - the last federalists remained on the building roof. They had not guns.
