Petro Poroshenko uitgejouwd in Odessa

"Fascism ne proidet!", oftewel "Hier geen Fascisme!", en "Ubitsa!" ("Moordenaar!") een duidelijke boodschap aan Petro Poroshenko dat ze van zijn bewind niks moeten hebben. Petro Poroshenko, en dat lijkt een specialiteit van hem, doet net alsof zijn neus bloedt. Het bezoek van de man aan Odessa vond plaats in het kader van de herdenking van de bevrijding van het fascisme in Odessa op 10 April.

Er heeft weer een zware ontploffing plaatsgevonden vanavond in Odessa. Precies plek en omstandigheden nog niet erg duidelijk.

Ouder vrouw in Marioepol: "Als ik jonger was geweest, zou ik het leger in gegaan zijn. Maar niet dat van Oekraïne, maar van de "Opstandelingen"".

Wie ook weinig op heeft met Poroshenko is deze man uit Texas die naar Donbass is gekomen om Novorossiya te verdedigen.

Verder houden de beschietingen van het Oekraïense leger van posities van het verzet aan. Spartak bij het vliegveld van Donetsk (een dode verzetsman gerapporteerd, onbevestigd), en Shirokino bij Marioepol zijn haarden van geweld. Het uitbreken van wederom de volledige oorlog wordt volop verwacht, vraag is alleen wanneer. Wij spraken eerder over 15 April, mogelijk wordt het later. De Tsjechische President Zeman, die in Moskou zal zijn op 9 mei, plant niet de militaire parade te bekijken. Hij geeft er de voorkeur aan dan in gesprek te gaan met zijn Slowaakse ambtsgenoot. Het niet bijwonen van de militaire parade heeft volgens zegslieden niets met de ophef te maken. Zeeman woont wel andere plechtigheden bij die dag. Hij arriveert op 8 Mei.

Vanya wil met een levende tijger spelen

Het gaat, als we naar de foto kijken, naar omstandigheden, goed met de 10-jarige Vanya Voronov. Hij kreeg bezoek van de Commissaris van de President voor Kinderzaken, Pavel Astaxov. Het is niet de eerste keer dat hij Vanya en zijn moeder bezoekt. Vanya is volgens de commissaris een "klasbak en een echte held en vent".

Spoedig zullen de protheses voor Vanya gemaakt worden, die beide benen tot de knie verloor en zijn rechter arm. De vereniging van de Commissaris heeft besloten Vanya levenslang met een maandelijkse toelage financiëel te ondersteunen, want er wacht hem nog een lange weg van rehabilitatie en meerdere protheses, aldus Pavel Astaxov.

De vorige keer dat Pavel bij Vanya op bezoek was sprak hij de wens uit wat clowns op bezoek te krijgen. Een feestje met clowns werd toen georganiseerd. Deze keer sprak Vanya ervan te dromen met een echte tijger te spelen. De voorbereidingen zijn al in gang gezet. De artsen geven toestemming; de dresseerders staan al klaar. BRON.

Amerikaanse Ambassadeur overschrijdt Diplomatieke etiquette in Praag

English below. De Amerikaanse ambassadeur in Tsjechië heeft getracht druk uit te oefenen op de Tsjechische President Milos Zeman, om vooral niet de overwinningsparade in Moskou bij te wonen. "Hij zou wel eens de enige vertegenwoordiger uit de EU kunnen zijn die de feest- en herdenkingsdag bij gaat wonen.", aldus Shapiro, de Amerikaanse ambassadeur.

De Tsjechische President, laat zich dus in tegenstelling tot nagenoeg alle andere EU leiders, de les niet lezen door een Amerikaan. "Als het Sovjet leger er niet was geweest, dan hadden we nu wellicht "Heil Hitler" moeten roepen." Aldus een reactie van Zeman.

Zeeman onderstreept wat hij van het gedrag van de Amerikaanse ambassadeur vindt, met een voorbeeld: "Ik zou me geen Tsjechische Ambassadeur in Washington kunnen voorstellen die de Amerikaanse President gaat adviseren waar hij naartoe moet reizen. Ik sta geen enkele ambassadeur toe zich te bemoeien met mijn reisschema en buitenlandse bezoeken". BRON.

American Ambassador in Europe crosses the line of decent Diplomacy behaviour

The American Ambassador to the Tsjech Republic, Andy Shapiro, has given a show of unappropriate diplomatic behaviour in Europe. He tried to pressure the Tsheck President Milos Zeman to not attend festivities in Moscow for the 70 year jubilee of Victoryday, upcoming 9 May. "He might be the only representative from the EU".

Zeman was certainly not ammused, nor impressed by the misconduct of the American Ambassador: "If the Sovjet army had not acted the way it has, then we might have been be shouting "Heil Hitler" now." Zeman: "I could not imagine a Tsjech Ambassador in Washington that starts advising the American President where to travel to. I do not allow any Ambassador to mess with my travel scheme and foreign visits."

Dear fans, DEAR FRIENDS!

I have a confession to make and a huge favor to ask all of you. I really REALLY need your help now. But first, my confession.

Over the last year I have been leading a double life. There was me - a "celebrity" pianist hopping from a concert to a concert, all over the world; learning new pieces, meeting fans, recording, chirping about my happiness in upbeat interviews :-)

But there was another me: not a musician but a regular human being - a daughter, a mother, a wife. And this human being was watching helplessly how the country of my birth, of my childhood, of my first falling in love - this country was sliding ever faster into the abyss. Children die under bombs, old ladies die of starvation, people burned alive... The worst thing that can happen to any country is fratricide war, people seeing each other, their neighbors as enemies to be eliminated. This is what has befallen my beautiful Ukraine. My heart was bleeding. You all saw on TV screens all over the world a magnificent revolution, the people of Ukraine raising in fury against their corrupt rulers, for a better life. I was so proud of my people! But the ruling class doesn't let go easily. They managed to cunningly channel away the anger, to direct it to other, often imaginable, enemies - and worse, to turn people upon themselves. Year later, we have the same rich people remaining in power, misery and poverty everywhere, dozens of thousands killed, over a million of refugees. So, I took to Twitter ( how many of you know I have a Twitter account? LOL) under a name "NedoUkraïnka" - a word roughly meaning "Sub-Ukrainian", a stab at Ukrainian Prime Minister who called Russian-speaking Southern and Eastern Ukrainians "SUBHUMANS"! Yes, I kid you not. In an official written document. I am a subhuman, my husband, my mom....I mastered Ukrainian language perfectly, far better than a so-called "president" of Ukraine. But I don't speak it to my family, I didn't sing lullabies to my son in Ukrainian, when I sleep I never see the dreams in Ukrainian, when I will be dying my last words will NOT be in Ukrainian....

Sorry, I got carried away telling you those things... To get back to my story - I took to Twitter in order to get the other side of the story heard, the one you never see in the mainstream media - the plight of my people, the good and bad things that were happening in Ukraine. I translated news stories from Ukrainian language websites, I translated eyewitness accounts of atrocities.... I became really good in unmasking fakes published by Western media in order to make one side of the civil war look whiter and softer than Easter bunny, and another - as sub-humans, not worthy of mercy, the "collateral damage.

To give you just one example: one of my feats was to confront French fashion magazine "Elle" who published a glowing cover story about women in Ukrainian army. After the research I have shown to the magazine in my Twitter posts that the "cover girl" they have chosen to show was in fact a horrible person, open Neo-Nazi, racist, anti-Semite who boasted of murdering civilians for fun! The magazine issued a written public apology. I was very proud! But with time my activities attracted a lot of vicious haters. I was a particularly important "target" because of being Ukrainian, thus - a traitor. I thought I knew hate - my playing on YouTube certainly "attracted" a fair share of hate mail. But I was mistaken. Death threats, wishes for my family to die, calling me "paid Kremlin wh*re"...the list goes on and on :-)

My haters didn't stop there. Trying, in their own words, to teach me a lesson, they have now attempted to silence me as a musician.

I am scheduled to play Rachmaninoff Concerto #2 with Toronto Symphony Orchestra this week. Back in December someone in the orchestra top management, likely after the pressure from a small but aggressive lobby claiming to represent Ukrainian community, has made a decision that I should not be allowed to play. I don't even know who my accusers are, I am kept in the dark about it. I was accused of "inciting hatred" on Twitter. As the "proof" , ironically enough, they presented to the orchestra my tweets containing, of all things, Charlie Hebdo caricatures depicting lying media!!! We all know what those who can't tolerate free speech did to Charlie Hebdo journalists. Now, the orchestra based in one of the freest democratic countries is bending over to the same kind of people, helping them to assassinate me - not as a living person yet , but as a MUSICIAN for sure. Yes, Toronto Symphony is going TO PAY ME NOT TO PLAY because I exercised the right to free speech. Yes, they will pay my fee but they are going to announce that I will be unable to play and they already found a substitute.

And they even threatened me against saying anything about the cause of the cancellation. Seriously. And I thought things like this only happen in Turkey to Fazil Say? Now, the plea.

Before you decide to help me - If you wish, please take time and read my tweets. You might find some of them offensive - perhaps. The satire and hyperbole are the best literature tools to combat the lies. Bear that in mind when reading. Here is what I ask you to do for me, and in defense of freedom even if you disagree with me on politics (LOLl!) I ask you to raise your voice and tell Toronto Symphony that music can't be silenced. Ask them to let me play. If you want to write something - great! Or just share a photo I made ( sorry, I made it on my phone, nothing fancy) Ask your friends to join in. If they do it once, they will do it again and again, until the musicians, artists are intimidated into voluntary censorship. Our future will be bleak if we allow this to happen. Please stand with me. Increased Dutch State campaing to blame Russia for MH17 Disaster

Dutch media continue to play their one-sided role. Completely biased they follow the Kiev/Washington communication line.

Bias 1: Nieuwsuur

Last week in Nieuwsuur they cooked up an old fragment of an alleged phone conversation of Russians supposedly talking about getting a BUK installation out of Donbass. However the authenticity is questionable, and even when authentic, who says it was the BUK having shot the MH17? And even when it had shot the MH17, who lead the MH17 into the warzone? There are reports before the shooting of MH17 of Ukrainian fighter jets hiding behind passenger liners. Warnings for this criminal behaviour to be found on our side a month before the tragedy. Nieuwsuur continues to ignore the footage (also available on our side) of a Ukraine BUK in Donbass the day before 17 July. Let alone asking Ukraine authorities what it was doing there, with the resistance forces not using any aircrafts.

Bias 2: Dutch Teletekst says there were not less planes before MH17 shoot down

Dutch state-controlled Teletekst says there were not less planes before the MH17 shoot down. However, when reading the article in detail, they only speak about April and May! No word about June, and moreover July! This information by the Dutch State can be seen as a cheap attempt to clear themselves from blame, as the Dutch state was informed about the dangers of flying over Donbass, but the Dutch state did not share the info! And of course the military conflict and the Ukraine army airstrikes did not take off well in April and May. It was exactly after those months, say June/July that those horrible flights and bombardments took place. No word on that, which makes the Teletext message, in the best case, useless. We remember David Jan Godfoid on the day of the airstrike on the center of Luhansk with several people killed, that he stated that day on prime-time, that the Ukrainian army fires always very carefully... It is also due to this one-sided journalism that most people in Holland were badly informed about the dangers of flying over Donbass and as a result no proper discussion was ever started on the topic, until it was already too late. It shows how dangerous biased journalism is.

Bias 3: Ukrainian soldiers killed

This weekend a very brief message on the radio of Ukrainian soldiers killed, both by a anti-tank missile and mines. The fact that there is attention for Ukraine: Perfect! We welcome this. But with so many civilians being killed and injured by Ukraine fire, also during this "cease-fire" it is again a show of completely one-sided biased information. Only informing the killed Ukraine soldiers and not informing about their breaking the cease-fire 20-40 times per day has little to do with anything else but biased information. Also of course, when the Ukraine soldiers were killed by mines, the question to be answered is by who those mines were placed. Nothing about this, in the Dutch media (at least not on radio or tv).

Ukraine forces have taken the little place of Katerinovka. This area was kind of neutral ground, being part of another community under LNR (Berezovsky village) control. Reports are coming out of a hostile atmosphere brought in by the uninvited and undesired military men, men-hunts on people with Novorossiya sympathies, and the yellow and blue flag has been places.

Oekraïne provoceert Novorossiya verder met tientallen mortieren BRON. Naast het innemen van grijs gebied zoals Katerinovka, provoceren de door Hans van Baalen en de VVD gesteunde Oekraïense troepen verder, met zoals in dit geval een mortier aanval met tientallen mortieren op een kantoor van de politie van Novorossiya. Het heeft er volgens de woordvoerder alle schijn van dat de door Nederland gesteunde troepen het Minsk verdrag proberen te doen mislukken. Bij Marinepol hebben Novorossiya saboteurs een post van Prawi Sector ("DUK") met handgranaten aangevallen. Twee leden van de Prawi Sector eenheid hebben verwondingen opgelopen. Oekraïense dierennamen hebben op hun beurt weer een stukje rails van een spoorlijn onklaar gemaakt. BRON.

Oekraieners schieten burgerhuis aan flarden

BRON. Bij het gehucht Wostshno is een woonhuis in vlammen opgegaan na beschieting met kaliber tot 120 mm uitgevoerd door het door Nederland gesteunde Oekraïense leger. Of het aldaar wonende gezin bijtijds het pand heeft kunnen verlaten is nog onbekend. Het schieten door de Oekraieners ging nog een tijdje door.
