Igor Strelkov, the ex Minister of Defense of the Donetsk People's Republic gives his view on a number of issues:
On the Minsk treaty: "Something more shamefull is hard to think of. In fact it is like surrendering (cappituleren)"
On the Malaysian Boeing: "I think the Ukranians shot it. And they are responsible for leading it into the warzone."
On the wall being built by the Ukrainians between Ukraine and Russia: "You can build a wall between the two coutries, you cannot divorce the people from Ukraine and Russia."
In reply to a question on when and how this war weill end: "If I were God, I could tell you"
On the ceasefire: "It is used by the Ukranian army to fortify their positions, among others in Debaltseevo, and to get ready for renewed attacks."
On the goals of the opponent: "They want a maximum number of casualties of Russian people on either side of the border"
Strelkov stressed many times the problem of the fifth collumn, existing in Russia.
